Logistics and Transporting Oversize Vacuum Chamber Components

This project involved logistics, craning and transporting a vacuum chamber comprised of three separate 
36-1/2 ft x 10 ft ring structures (each weighing 90,000 lbs) and other components, each transported as a heavy-haul, oversize flatbed load. 

Legacy prepared a logistics plan for this move, including permits and highway patrol assistance, timing as well as craning the pieces onto and off of the flatbeds.

Legacy was an award winner at the recent 2012 United Van Lines / Unigroup Convention in San Francisco.

Logistics Hauling Award (2nd  place)  – for outstanding work in Trade Show Exhibits and Displays
Sales Achievement Award (2nd place) – for top booking in Logistics – Exhibits and Displays
